MGF Headlight re-chroming?

MGF's often fail the MOT on headlight output due to deterioration of the chrome on the main beam. We can offer a re-chroming service at half the price of replacement new units!

Terms and conditions

1 BASIS FOR SALE

1.1 Nothing contained in the website constitutes an offer and TMG Car Sales reserves the right to withdraw or revise the website and any other material at anytime prior to their acceptance of the buyer’s order.

1.2 No material or information of any nature whatsoever contained in the website or otherwise communicated to the buyer, other than these conditions shall form part of the conditions 
governing the contract.
1.3 TMG Car Sales shall not be liable for any advice given by its employees or agents to the buyer as to the application or use of the goods unless such advice is confirmed in writing by TMG Car Sales.

2 RETURN OF GOODS
2.1 TMG Car Sales will give a full refund excepting carriage on parts returned to us within seven days of delivery of the goods to the buyer, subject to the following conditions....
2.1.1 Goods are returned in the condition/packaging they were sold in and are not damaged in anyway.
2.1.2 The goods were not specially ordered by TMG Car Sales on the customers behalf.
2.1.3 The goods have not been fitted or tampered with.
2.1.4 All carriage costs relating to returned products are to be borne by the customer.

3 LIABILITY
3.1 Subject to the conditions set out below TMG Car Sales warranty that the goods will correspond with our specification or, if there is no such specification then the goods will be within normal limits of industrial quality, at the time of delivery and will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of (12 months for new items, 3 months for second hand items) from the date of delivery of the goods to the buyer.
3.1.2 Chrome goods and Diamond cut edge wheels are subject to the warranty 3.1, except for a limited period of six months from the date of delivery of the goods to the buyer.
3.2 TMG Car Sales shall be under no liability in respect of any defect in the goods.....
3.2.1 Arising from fair wear and tear, neglect, failure to follow Manufacturers instructions, misuse or improper alteration or repair of the goods, or...
3.2.2 If the total price for the goods has not been paid by the due date for payment.
3.3 The warranty in 3.1 does not extend to parts, materials or equipment not manufactured by TMG Car Sales in respect of which the buyer shall only be entitled to the benefit of any such warranty or guarantee given by the manufacturer. 
3.4 Where any valid claim in respect of any of the goods which is based on a breach of the warranty In the condition 3.1 is notified to TMG Car Sapres within the warranty period set out in condition 3.1, TMG Car Spares shall be entitled to repair or replace the goods (or the part in question) free of charge or, at TMG Car Sales discretion, refund to the buyer the price of the goods (or a proportionate part of the price).

4 EXEMPTION
4.1 Except as expressly provided for in this contract and subject to the requirements of the Unfair Contract Term Acts 1977, TMG Car Sales makes no warranties whatsoever expressed or implied, oral or written to the buyer for:
4.1.2 Consequential or indirect loss or damage (including loss of profit), however arising;
4.1.3 Sums in excess of the price of the goods to which the claim relates,
4.1.4 Any labour charges incurred by the buyer relating to the removal and refitting of the original goods or replacement goods, or... 
4.1.5 Any Competition parts once they have been fitted.
4.1.5.2 Competition parts are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects and workmanship at the point of sale and should therefore be carefully inspected prior to fitting.
4.2 Competition parts being defined as those parts which change the performance of the standard Rover production part.

5. THE WEBSITE
5.1 TMG Car Sales is the owner of the copyright in the website and no part of the website may be reproduced in any material form (including without limitation, photocopying or storing it in any medium by electronic means) without the written consent and permission of TMG Car Sales.
5.2 All information, details and illustrations in the website have been carefully prepared to avoid error but the accuracy of such information is not warranted and such information, details and illustration, do not form part of this contract. The seller shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from any errors, omissions or typographical errors in the website.
5.3 All pictures are for reference purposes only and unless specifically stated, metal products may be quoted under the general heading of brightwork, with no specific metallurgical origin.

 

6. SEVERANCE
6.1 If any provision of these terms and conditions or any part thereof is held by any competent authority to be invalid or unenforcable in whole or in part the validity of the other provisions of these terms and conditions and the remainder of the provision in question shall not be affected thereby.
The contract will be construed in accordance with and governed by the laws of England and each party agrees to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of England.

TMG Car Sales collects three kinds of information from visitors to tmg-carsales.co.uk: e-mail registration information, email details if you contact us via email or subscribe to our newsletter, site usage information from server log files, payment and address details if you buy goods from us. 

In the Sign up for our newsletter section of our website, we ask you to submit an email address to sign up for our newsletter. Since the purpose of this data is simply to keep you informed, we do not ask for any data over and above this. Instructions for unsubscribing from this newsletter are included in the newsletter e-mails. We will never pass your email address data on to third parties.

Server log files allow us to record visitors' use of the site. TMG Car Sales may put together log file information from our visitors, which we may use to make changes to the site and to the information in it, based on the way that visitors interact with it. Log files do not contain any personal information.

When you click on a link to send an email to TMG Car Sales you are asked to submit a form which includes some personal information such as your name, email address and telephone contact number. This data is sent by our server as an email message and is not logged by any other system. We will never pass any of this data on to third parties.

TMG Car Sales may also contain links to third-party client and partner sites. We do not control and are not responsible for the collection of any information by any of these third parties, whose privacy policy may differ from ours.

Payment policy

TMG Car Sales uses secure payment methods of payment on our website and also for sales, repair or restoration services. 

Payment for goods online are handled securely using https and PayPal express checkout. TMG Car Sales does not store or process any credit card data.

Payment for vehicle sales, servicing, repair or restoration work can be via cash, debit or credit card and BACS payment. All work is fully invoiced, receipted and gauranteed where applicable. Payment via credit or debit card is handled securely via PayPal Here. 

TMG Car Sales does not offer or provide credit for goods or services. Payment is required in full before any vehicles or goods are allowed to leave the premises. 

We offer a pay monthly option for restoraton work. Full terms and conditions are available. Payment for restoration work is paid in advance with an agreed schedule and scope of work to cover parts and labour.

Delivery policy

TMG Car Sales delivery policy is designed to give customers the best value shipment for the level of service required. The estimated delivery cost given to you in the checkout process is from an estimated parcel weight and does not take into account the volumetric limitations of the despatch methods available. Also some combination of parts ( i.e. heavy with fragile) may require shipping in two separate packages to avoid parts being damaged in transit. Because of this Minispares reserve the right to contact you with a more accurate quote for delivery once the items have been packed.

The delivery times given below are from the date of dispatch and assume that the products you have ordered are in stock and available for shipment.

UK Express delivery orders are usually dispatched on the same day 

IfWhen selecting postal as your delivery method please bare in mind that in the unlikely event that you parcel is lost you will have to wait up to a 6 week wait before the post office will consider the parcel undelivered / lost. TMG Car Sales can not despatch a free replacement until this time has elapsed. If your order has not been delivered and you require TMG Car Sales to despatch the goods again before this time then you will need to order and pay for the goods again. When the postal service confirm the parcel is lost then TMG Car Sales will issue a refund for the undelivered goods.

Returns policy

TMG Car Sales are happy to accept returns if the product you have purchased does not meet your requirements or has other discrepancies. If you wish to return parts to TMG Car Sales you must first obtain a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) from us first. We cannot accept or process any returns that are not accompanied by a Returns Authorisation Number. All refunds will be processed within 30 days of receipt of the returned goods. Goods that prove unsuitable may be returned for a refund, credit note or exchange if they are returned to us within 7 days of receipt.

Please report all shortages/damages or other discrepancies with your purchases to TMG Car Sales within 24 hours of taking delivery of your order in order for us to ensure that anny issues are dealt appropriately and immediately.

Please refer to our terms & conditions below when requesting a refund or a return. We will always ensure that our customers are completely satisfied when shopping with us but must guarantee that are terms and conditions are abided by in the case of a refund, return or exchange.

  • Items are to be returned carriage paid
  • All items returned must be in fit condition and ready for re-sale
  • Items should be returned unused and in the correct and original packing to secure a refund or exchange.
  • Items must be returned complete with all packaging in good condition. We reserve the right to charge for replacement packaging; if the original has been damaged or defaced)
  • Items returned after 7 days from receipt may be subject to a restocking fee. (This does not affect your statuary rights)
  • We cannot accept any items that have been specifically ordered for you or manufactured to your specification for return.
  • All returns are to be accompanied by the senders name, address, account number and reason for return. Please remember the information that you provide enables us to make an efficient returns process and helps us to help you.

In addition we cannot accept responsibility for returned parcels, which have been undelivered or lost. Please retain proof of postage, as it may be required in the event of a claim against our couriers.

TMG Car Sales is not responsible for any labour charges incurred during the fitment or removal of allegedly fault or incorrectly supplied parts.

Old units returned for a surcharge refund must be returned within 1 months of purchase in a clean and serviceable condition. Returned surcharge units that are not serviceable will not be refunded.

Hazardous goods policy

TMG Car Sales does not ship hazardous goods. Anythng of this nature will be available by collection only and via prior arrangement with TMG Car Sales.

TMG Car Sales website uses cookies for website functionality and from 3rd party plugin providers. You can disable cookies in your browser but this will reduce some functionality available on the website.
